The Commitment

The Way, The Truth & The Life

  • In Life’s Journey, the goal is simple. Follow the path of Our Savior by carrying another’s Cross.

  • “If you want God to hear your prayers, hear the voice of the poor. If you wish God to anticipate your wants, provide those of the needy without waiting them to ask you.”

    Saint Thomas Villanova

  • The love we have shown, the compassion we have provided and the example we have lived endures in the hearts and memory others carry of us.

The Foundation is all volunteer. There is no compensation or reimbursement of personal expenses paid to anyone, at any time, for any reason.

100% of all donations go to support charitable activities and to pay for cost required for necessary functions- accounting, legal, insurance, banking, internet, grant processing and associated expenses.

The goal is 98% of donations are used for Charity Distribution to the needy.

The Foundation is committed to providing the most comfort and relief to those who normally don’t ask for help but need it urgently.

Encountering Christ in others is the heart of being a Christian. It is the essence of our longing and hope to be forgiven, reconciled and worthy.

Angels of Charity & Hope Foundation Prayer

Lord, break my heart for what breaks yours, Help me see with your eyes, serve with your hands, hear with your understanding, and speak with your meaning.

Help me give of the talents and treasures you have blessed me with. Help me recognize those in need of my attention and provide for those who feel forgotten, unloved, and hopeless.

Lord, provide me the courage, grace and faith to serve you with the Love you have shown me … help me carry the cross of others as you did for me.

I humbly pray for your help and guidance.

A Beautiful Example of The Foundations Mission

It was Thanksgiving morning, and a man asked his wife what she thought about helping a homeless person he saw every day at work.

The wife was extremely busy with the million tasks associated in meal preparation but asked how she could help.

A few sandwiches, some small change and a blanket - would suffice.

On the drive to the city the man related to his two children that there was a homeless woman he saw everyday who needed help and that’s what they were going to do.

r

Questions flew - what was her name?; why is she homeless?; how old is she?; where does she sleep? … the man’s answer to each question was - I don’t know.

The older child asked the obvious question: If you don’t know her - She could be dangerous, sick or crazy. Couldn’t she?

The man answered … Yeah, I guess she could be.

Then why are we doing this? - was the follow up.

The car got quiet for the rest of the drive. Before he knew it, they were at the park.

The man said … we’re here … who wants to go with me to meet this person?

Silence.

After a few minutes of considering his options - he grabbed the bag and blanket and stepped out of the car.

The walk from the car to the bench was an eternity that covered 80 feet … the time filled with a thousand thoughts.

At the bench he looked at the woman and said - I pass this way every day.

She looked at him but said nothing.

He asked … Mind if I sit down?

She said nothing.

He said … it’s Thanksgiving and my family wanted you to have something to eat, this blanket, and some small change for you to use … she turned slightly and looked in the direction of the car.

Turning back, she looked at the man …

She said nothing.

Well, I hope you can use this stuff, he said. He placed the bag and blanket in the middle of the bench. He stood up and said the dumbest words ever spoken … “Happy Thanksgiving”.

The drive home was silent. Only one question was asked … What did she say?

He answered …. She said nothing.

When they got home - the chatter started … It was Thanksgiving. All were hungry. Things were back to normal.

When the man finished the Thanksgiving prayer … his daughter added … let’s all pray for the woman on the bench.

The man bent his head slightly, he felt tears well up in his eyes …

He thought about replying but said nothing.

Sometimes when we’re overwhelmed with gratitude … we say nothing.
